Reminders & Confirmations
A booking that nobody confirms is a booking that might not show. Velaire sends the confirmation when the appointment is made and the reminder before it comes round, without anyone having to remember.
Built and in final testing. Ask us where it stands before you plan around it.
How reminders & confirmations works
Confirmation at booking
The patient gets the details in writing while the appointment is still fresh.
Reminder before the visit
Timing is configured per practice, because a dental hygiene visit and a consultation are not the same lead time.
Reply handling
A patient who replies to reschedule goes through the same booking route as a new request.
Consent captured at booking
Messaging consent is recorded when the appointment is made, not assumed afterwards.
What the first 48 hours actually look like
Most practices are answering with Velaire within two days of signing. Here is what happens in between.
Step 01
You fill in the details
Hours, services, booking rules, routing, and the questions patients actually ask.
Step 02
We build your agent
Configured to your service menu and booking process, not a generic script.
Step 03
It gets reviewed
Every agent goes through a QA pass before it is allowed near a real call.
Step 04
You approve it
Nothing goes live until you have heard it and signed off.
Step 05
Live on your number
Answering on the line patients already call. No port, no new hardware.
Questions about this
Can we set our own timing?
Yes. Reminder timing is configured per practice during onboarding.
What if a patient replies?
Replies route the same way a new booking request does, so a reschedule does not need a separate process.
